As a young girl, I was always determined to live my dreams and create a meaningful life. After high school, I continued my education and earned my degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management.

As I began building a life for myself and my daughter, I became intentional about personal growth and positivity. I immersed myself in motivational speeches, seminars, self-development books, and surrounded myself with positive people. That journey taught me something that would eventually change the direction of my life: the way we think can influence the way we grow, lead, and approach our future.

I began asking myself, “How can I make a difference in the world in a way that benefits others?”

Eventually, that question became even more specific:

“What if we could teach children at an early age how to build confidence, develop a positive mindset, and become strong leaders that will last into there futures?”

That question became the foundation for Positive Kids Positive Futures Learning Academy (PKPF).

I made the decision to leave my management career with J.B. Hunt and turn that vision into a reality. I started PKPF as a small home daycare, where I could put my ideas into practice and see firsthand how children responded to an environment centered around positive reinforcement, quality education, confidence, and personal growth.

What started as an idea quickly became my passion.

As I watched the children in our care learn, grow, and respond to the positive teachings and curriculum my staff and I provided, I knew the vision could become something much bigger.

Today, what began as a home daycare has grown into three Positive Kids Positive Futures childcare centers serving children and families in our communities.

Although we’ve grown, our purpose remains the same.

Our vision is to help children develop confidence, leadership skills, gratitude, and a positive mindset from an early age. Through daily affirmations, gratitude practices, positive reinforcement, and an engaging educational curriculum, we work to give children a strong foundation they can carry with them as they grow.

Our curriculum also introduces children to important early learning concepts, including math, science, colors, shapes, and early Spanish language development.

Over the years, my love for Positive Kids Positive Futures has grown into a true passion. I’m grateful to have a team of educators who share that passion and understand the responsibility we have when families trust us with their children.
